Do you need to put stuff on the roof? Do you want to take off the freedom top panels but you are too short (or your Jeep too high)? Do you just wanna step up your game and look cool? Then this one is for you! Jokes aside, this heavy-duty foot step adds a bunch of convenience to your Jeep Wrangler. The actual step folds up nicely and the whole assembly can be used on front and rear doors. It doesn't affect or limit the normal use of your doors at all. The installation is easy and won't take more than 10 minutes.
Installation:
You'll be using your existing door hinge bolts. To undo these bolts you need a T50 Torx Key. Keep your door shut firm and then undo all 4 bolts carefully. You will need a fair bit of force to unscrew the bolts if you haven't done this before on your Jeep. Because the paint job will add extra resistance to the bolts you need to give it a good crack at first.
It's best to wrap your torx key in a cloth so you don't accidentally damage the paint job of your Jeep. After you have undone all 4 bolts, place the door hinge on the door and align its holes with the holes in the hinges. Then you screw all 4 bolts back into place and tighten them firmly.
The whole installation process should not take more than 15 minutes.

Not gonna lie, I am a bit on the shorter side (small but strong independent gurl) and getting my camping gear up on the roof rack always caused me so much pain.
