First of all it's made out of heavy-duty steel tube (that includes the spare wheel tyre carrier as well as the corner guards) and 3/8" plate steel is taking care of the tow points.
The Bumper
This rear bar has 2 polyethene tanks that can be used to store about 9 Litres of water. Comes handy when you want to do some washing or hosing down your car after a trail. The bumper also includes two rated tow points to get yourself or a friend out of a hairy situation. Furthermore, this AEV Style rear bumper offers not only enough clearance to not affect your departure angles negatively, but it also leaves enough space for your tow bar.
The Tyre Carrier
The tyre carrier is strong enough to carry a heavy 40" tyre with its chassis mounted pivot design. It also offers mounting points for additional lights, CB Antenna, Sand Flag, a Fuel Caddy and has a built-in holster for a long shovel. It's designed to swing out with your rear door so that you don't have to open two things to get to your boot space.
Both, rear bumper and tyre carrier, come with all stainless steel installation items (bolts, nuts, helm joint) and are powder-coated with a matte black textured durable paint.
